I’m just being silly with the title so don’t come for me!! lol

I understand that people are allowed to dislike a show. I also understand that people are allowed to critique a show that they like. What I don’t understand is why everyone is hating on the show so badly!! I’ve watched the entire thing and I really enjoyed it. There are plenty of questionable writing or plot choices, but generally I feel like it’s a solid show and the people I talk to irl about it really loved it as well!

I feel like even after a bunch of the main characters left or got rewritten it was still good storytelling. What are everyone’s big hang ups? Or why are people saying it went downhill?

Hello people, I’m about to graduate as a master of social work and I wanna decorate my grad cap with some fire hiphop or rap lyrics. Of course, I am completely drawing blanks even though I listen to this music daily.

What are some of your favorite short lyrics that pack a punch? I’m thinking messages of empowerment, strength, service, or justice. Lyrics explicitly stroking the ego are nice too!

I always knew that their relationship was a disaster, but rewatching the days leading up to their wedding is really sad. They obviously do not like each other at all, let alone love each other! They are absolutely brutal in the way they speak to each other and the fact that they’re like this right before their wedding is so wild to see!! I can’t believe they actually went through with it if I’m being honest.

Tom is a dismissive,unsupportive, incendiary doormat, and Katie is both passive aggressive and aggressively aggressive, simultaneously. Together, they are probably the most toxic relationship I’ve ever seen. Do you think they really thought the marriage was gonna work out or did they just go through with it for the show?

Personally, I think they did it for the show. They were in too deep and would feel stupid if they put a stop to it. In all reality they look extremely stupid going through with this disaster of a marriage.

I’m doing a rewatch allllll the way from the beginning. I started watching when I was literally 11 years old (my parents never monitored my TV usage unless there were gay people involved) and was kind of curious just to see how some of their shenanigans have aged over time.

I completely forgot that in the first episode Scheana is in the studio singing and doing her lil fake laugh and breathy talking and I’m so disappointed that “can you freak, bitch!?” has not been a staple in my lexicon for 15 years at this point. The way I busted out laughing my ass off and crying was so genuinely satisfying. I needed that laugh. I haven’t laughed that hard in months. Thanks Scheana Shay :)
