Charging for Electricity

A new one for me. I decided to fulfill a bucket list item and spend Jan and Feb in Ft. Myers, Fla. After one option was “rented” right after I selected it, I found my second choice was still available. Worried about losing out on it, I immediately booked and paid a down payment. What I missed, I learned, after receiving the short term lease agreement from the host, under the “Administrative Fee” was $917 for electrical usage. Is this common? I have stayed at many VRBO homes and have never been charged for electricity usage, before I even use it. It seems like a gray area in the VRBO rules.

Spectrum already missing deadlines

Ordered Spectrum system as a back up to google that seems to drop my internet connection for days at a time, twice the last 6 months. Wanted to get this set up and get on with my life. Guess what…a delivery of the system that was promised to be here today…not coming…until who knows when…Does anyone know how to provide customer service in this ISP community?

Google

It has been 44 hours without internet connection. Google “chats” and phone agents, as usual, giving me the run around. It is so frustrating. I ordered a Spectrum system. It was supposed to be delivered today (6/12) now it is delayed at least a day. I have no recourse, just to keep making calls and chats. Hopefully, get something set up before the second tier weekend staff are on duty.
