Hi everyone,

I’m looking to commission a custom-built, dual-shaft shredder to process non-ferrous scrap metal for my foundry. I am looking for a complete, turnkey solution—frame, motor, gear reduction, hopper, and cutting box all fully assembled and ready to plug in.

Project Specifications:

Materials to Shred: Primarily copper wire and copper pipe.

The entire unit must run on a standard 110V wall outlet. I realize this requires a high-torque, low-RPM gear motor setup to generate the necessary biting force without tripping a standard household breaker.

I am located in the Houston, Texas area (Magnolia/Tomball). Local pickup/delivery would be great, but I am absolutely willing to cover freight shipping for the right builder.

Does anyone have a link they can send me to a wire shredder?

I enjoy taking things apart, melting them down and stamping them.

But one of the longer tasks is stripping and shredding them.

So would anyone have a link to a copper shredder in the few hundred dollars price range?

Amazon Crucible's don't seem to last very long, and as far as I can tell, the top of the line crucible are expensive, but I don't know if they last or are worth the price tag.

In 2023 I had graduated highschool and was getting ready to join the US Navy but wanted to take a few months to have some fun and travel.

In November of 2023, an F-250 t-boned me while they were doing 85mph.

I was driving a 2014 Kia Sorento and it barrel rolled into a cow field.

I was life flighted to a hospital and was in a coma for 45 days. Turns out when you are legally dead and someone sues you, they win by default because a dead man cannot defend himself. I was legally dead until I woke up.

I was having 3 seizures every day ( nero storms ) and could not wake up till they stopped happening.

I did eventually wake up ( obviously ) but one of my favorite stores was from my ex's mom.

They were both there for me throughout all of my recovery. But when I finally got home and was able to make memories again my ex's mom said "but every time you had a seizure "every" part of you would get strong, including your "member".

She then said "I understand why you and my daughter got kicked out of school, she was "adDICted" to you for more than how treated her."
