WC R2?

I've been dwelling between:

  1. choosing a good overall squad across all three fixtures
  2. targeting easy fixtures in MD1 (3xGermany, 3xNorway, 3x Spain) and wild card MD2 grabbing more Brasil, France, and overall good players with high chances of getting far

Also, using the 12th man first fixture if I wild card in 2nd, since we're getting unlimited transfers for the knockouts and most of the teams will have similar players then.

France

Do you guys think this is how French starting attack could look like? Barcola, Cherki seem to start from the bench. If I wanted the strongest starting XI I'd go with Olise, Dembele, Doue and Mbappe

My final draft (hopefully)

I've been spinning it around for ages... 3 German, no French, 12th man Haaland or Haaland captain etc.
Had Nusa and L.Diaz, then my only 2nd fixture French pick Olise scores a hattrick in a friendly and messes it all up😂I think I'll stick to this, can't see anyone mega hauling and crushing my rank.

Maybe use a German 12th man (Sane/Havertz) and wild card on 2nd fixture. If I don't wild card, it's just Haaland to Embolo/Nunez and Sabitzer to Raphinha with a Brasil 12th man vs Haiti.

Any suggestions?

12th man chip MD1?

How crazy is it to use the 12th man chip on Haaland MD1? He has tough fixtures in 2 and 3 and he'll likely get closed out from big chances. Could get CR7/Kane in my draft instead so I don't have to use the transfer on Haaland MD2.

Also, seen a lot of folk planning on using the wildcard MD3, since there could be some upsets or rotation in MD3, best to use it after we know for sure who goes to the knockouts?

Boro emotions

So in my fourth season with Middlesbrough, I'm fighting with Man City to win the Prem. Also I'm in Champions League finals. Only star I bought was Alvarez, most of my squad is evo like Ansu Fati, Joao Gomes, Harry Amass etc. I created a young german manager and wanted a realistic career mode which I somehow perfected.

Now I want to switch clubs, maybe PSG or Bayern. Making a Xabi Alonso type move (shocking everyone and getting called to a bigger club) but I'm somehow emotionally attached to Boro and my boys😭I know a lot of you been in this situation so please help me decide.

Also, I don't want to make the move later when Kvara/Olise are 30+, Dembele/Kane close to retiring etc. But still feels wrong to leave my Boro side!
