Protective style suggestions😭

I have fine hair and my natural texture is 4c (idk if it’s relevant for this). I braided my hair nonstop for almost two years(knotless braids without switching up parting). During these times, I rarely cared for my hair. As a result, my hair thinned/broke off considerably.

I’m sure the main reason is because of my neglect. However, a change in the kinds of hairstyles I do will surely help.

As long as it’s not a wig/weave, gives me easy access to my hair, and won’t look crazy after frequent washes, I’m interested.

Any suggestion helps!

I(20F) act snarky and shut down the conversation when someone mentions their s/o to me. I can’t for the life of me stay in a room with a couple. It makes me irritated.

Might be useful to add that the only contact I’ve had with love was a guy who asked me out for a bet in my teen years. Oh and growing up I directly and indirectly got reminded of how ugly I was. All my girlfriends are pretty too and get hit on frequently.

I don’t want to keep being rude to people that have done nothing to hurt me.
