So I've been playing Destiny 2 and...

there were waaay more chips in the bag back then compared to now. It's literally night and day.

I feel like I've stepped into a massive sci-fi universe and I'm genuinely overwhelmed with all the things that are available for me to do. Some of these cutscenes go hard, like Blizzards animations for WoW, and I've already got some favourite characters too (Cayde-6 😭). I'm aware of how bungie treated the game in the recent years, but even then I can feel the love and passion oozing out of it.

I genuinely loved playing Marathon in season 1, season 2 I'm slowly disengaging. But hopping back in after playing a few hours of Destiny 2, I dunno man the game feels like a huge step backwards, like it feels hella stripped down. If I didn't already know both games were from Bungie, I would have assumed Marathon was made by a small indie company.

I'm starting to understand a lot more now...

Do you think they'll add another sponsored map? I really liked the concept and flow of the gameplay. I hope Bungie sticks with it because they're onto a winner with this map type imo.
