Thought these were always very interesting and I see them sometimes when crossing over the bay... How often do you guys leave your home? What's the deal with flooding? Do you make any sacrifices when living out there? I mean like more dialy things like water usage, electricity, etc.

This may be a stupid question, but why can't they build a park or some greenspace to vill the void above Union Tpk? I know trucks aren't an issue because they dont fit in the tunnel to get onto the turnpike, so what is stopping this from happening? Of course construction of something like this would impair the traffic and accessibility, but I think in the long run, this could be super beneficial. It would make it so much easier/safer to cross this part of the turnpike. Is there a petition for this? Because I will sign.
