The worst part is I'll come up with the perfect line in the shower and then in the real conversation later that day my brain just serves me "haha yeah". All that prep wasted.

Is this a universal thing or have I just been slowly losing it for years? What's the weirdest imaginary conversation you've had in the shower lately?

I was googling something I'm dealing with and a Reddit thread came up from 2 years ago where someone described basically my exact situation. The top comment had great advice but I have a follow-up question that wasn't covered, and honestly I'd love to know how things ended up working out for OP too.

What do people usually do in this situation? Comment on the old one, DM the original poster, or just start a new thread?
