Chanel 25 Mini Review

Hey everyone , I've seen a few posts about this bag so I figured I'd share my thoughts after using the Chanel 25 Mini for about a month.

Why I picked the mini:

I went back and forth on sizes for a while in-store. I was initially leaning toward the medium, but on me it just felt a bit too bulky for everyday wear. The mini ended up winning me over because it's honestly just really cute, and way more practical for my lifestyle—running errands, dinner, casual outings, etc. It's one of those bags that just works without much thought.

What fits inside:

Don't be fooled by the “mini” label—the shape and wider base actually make it pretty functional. I can easily fit my phone, wallet, compact, lipstick, and keys without it feeling overstuffed. It's a functional mini, not just a novelty piece.

Details:

I went with the vintage gold hardware + black caviar leather. The chain is the classic gold leather-woven style, which feels very Chanel and goes with everything.

Closure is a drawstring—no flap, no zipper. I'll be honest, this is the only part that makes me slightly nervous. It's not the most secure feeling closure compared to other styles

One of my favorite features is actually the side pockets—there's one on each side and they're super handy for cards or quick access items. The only small downside is the flaps feel a bit stiff at first.

Small complaint:

If I had to pick one flaw, it would be the drawstring design and how it rubs against the chain hardware. It can cause some wear over time, especially if you tend to cinch it tightly like I do. I noticed scuffing pretty quickly after a few uses. The vintage gold finish helps hide it a bit, but I do think it would be more noticeable with shiny gold hardware.

Buying experience:

Delivery was super fast—about a week. Ceci was great throughout the process. She sent me multiple angle videos when I asked about sizing, plus close-up shots of the hardware before shipping so I could inspect everything. Packaging was also very well done, everything felt secure and well-presented.If you're interested, you can hit her up too.(86 137 1938 5701)

Overall:

I really do love the bag. Despite the small concerns about long-term wear on the chain from the drawstring, it's been a really easy, grab-and-go piece that I've been reaching for a lot.

Happy to answer any questions if anyone's considering it.

Replacing an Eaton 5PX, stay or move to APC?

Running an Eaton 5PX 1500VA rated for 1350W. Our current load is around 1000W, with short peaks close to 1200. We expect the normal load to reach roughly 1400W after adding another server and some network gear.

We’ve received quotes for:

-Eaton 5PX G2 2200VA / 2200W

-Vertiv Edge 2200VA/1980W

-Schneider Electric Smart

-UPS X 2200VA/1980W

Eaton has the better capacity margin. But we had a few annoyances with the Eaton. The network card has been inconsistent around alerts and event logging, and the fan is noticeably loud. Eaton generally seems to be well regarded, so I’m not sure whether this is typical or simply an issue with our older unit.

Right now I’m leaning toward the APC. The NMC/SNMP support, alerting and shutdown integration seems better. Our supplier has also confirmed that it will fit the available rack space and upstream power setup.

Before we place the order, I’d be interested in hearing from anyone who has managed both platforms. Given the choice, should I stay with Eaton or switch platform? What other factors should I consider?

I didn't realize how much floor space I had until I finally organized my bathroom

I've been putting this off forever because my bathroom is so small, and everything just kept ending up on the floor or squeezed into random corners.

I finally spent an afternoon sorting everything, getting rid of empty bottles, and giving everything a proper place.

It's honestly surprising how much bigger the space feels now, even though I didn't change anything about the room itself.

I'm especially happy that I can actually grab what I need without knocking three other bottles over first.

Still thinking about adding one more shelf, but this already feels like a huge improvement.
