"No fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Just warriors." - Sec Hesgeth
Full quote: "We are no longer the woke department or the weak department. Simple translation of that: No fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Just warriors. Just tough, ready, committed troops."
Takes a lot to get me to say stuff like this... But I'm tired boss.
Most of the best PSYOP Soldiers I ever served with were/are "fat". (I'd go so far as to say don't trust a thin PSYOP'er with a mission of any importance).
>Edited ot add: Because people are getting hung up on my use of "fat" and not understanding the difference between fat (morbidly obse and gets tired climbing a flight of stairs) and "fat" here goes. In this context these PSYOP soldiers (all but one) were absolutely crushing their APFT/ACFT/AFT. But were getting tapped. Of the one not crushing his APFT, he was a competitive strong man, who still passed the run, but was eventually given a bar to re-enlistment because he busted tape and had zero desire to impact his strongman/powerlifting performance for the army. One of the other dudes eventually got chaptered for failing tape, Samoan dude, maxed pushups and the two mile run, scored in the high 70's/low 80's on the situps. Spoke four languages (though his French was more Creole than European), there was a MSG at the schoolhouse, wrote most of the training material we still use today. Forced to retire for "being fat". Got rehired for a while as a contractor.
One of the best mechanics I ever saw is FtM.
I closed, engaged, and destroyed enemies of this nation while wearing a beard.
99% of the top 20% of MI are weirdos.
Two of the best cyber guys I know (both NG warrants) can barely do a pushup.
>Edited to add: Again because people are more focused on what I said that the quote from Sec. Hesgeth...Dudes have deadman profiles, ie so old, broken, battered, the army has said "yeah you're good". Both absolutely fucking brilliant when it comes to offensive cybersecurity operations. But sure, lets lose all their institutional knowledge, experience, and skill because they can't do push-ups. Both make a soul crushing amount of money in the private sector so, yeah, lose them, they aren't coming fucking back as a contractor.
I mean seriously, can we focus on competency? Please?
