I'm planning to upgrade to a new MacBook, but every Apple reseller I've visited in Sonipat says they won't sell it without AppleCare+, which adds around ₹27k to the price.
I also checked with a Croma store in Delhi, and they told me the same thing.
Is this actually an Apple policy, or are these stores just pushing AppleCare to increase sales? Has anyone recently bought a MacBook without AppleCare from an Apple-authorized reseller or Apple Store? Any suggestions on where I can buy one without being forced to add AppleCare?

I'm a backend developer working primarily with Java and Spring Boot having 6 YOE, and I've recently started preparing for machine coding and LLD interview rounds.

One thing I've noticed is that many example solutions and interview discussions use plain Java classes, in-memory repositories (using HashMaps), and manual dependency injection instead of Spring Boot, JPA, and actual databases.

My question is:

• Is Spring Boot generally discouraged in machine coding rounds?
• If Spring Boot is allowed, would using it hurt my evaluation because some design decisions get hidden behind annotations?
• Do interviewers prefer candidates to implement repositories, dependency injection, and object relationships manually to demonstrate OOP and design skills?
• For companies like Razorpay, PhonePe, Google, etc., what has been your experience?

I wanted to check the situation across different areas of Sonipat, Haryana.
This year we have been experiencing extremely frequent power cuts, much worse than anything I can remember in previous summers. Sometimes the electricity goes out multiple times a day, and the issue seems to be getting worse.
Could people from different areas (Sector 14, Sector 15, Sector 23, Kundli, Murthal, Model Town, Gohana Road, etc.) share:

Approximate number of power cuts per day

Average outage duration

Whether the situation is worse than previous years

I'm trying to understand whether this is a city-wide issue or limited to certain areas.
