🐶 Home-Based Dog Boarding & Daycare in Bangalore ❤️

Hi everyone! I’m starting a small, home-based dog boarding and daycare service in Bangalore for pet parents looking for a more personal, homely alternative to traditional boarding facilities.

I’ve had and fostered dogs before, so I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, and I wanted to create a space where they can feel comfortable and cared for while their humans are away.

The biggest difference is that I’ll be taking only ONE dog at a time. No overcrowding, no kennels full of dogs; just personalised, one-on-one care in a clean and pet-friendly home.

🐾 What I offer

🏡 BOARDING
A comfortable, loving home away from home while you’re away.

☀️ DAYCARE
Playtime, cuddles, enrichment and supervised care throughout the day.

🍲 HOMEMADE FOOD & TREATS
Wholesome homemade meals and treats, based on your dog’s routine and dietary requirements.

💕 ONE-ON-ONE CARE
Only one boarding guest at a time, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention.

🎾 PLAYTIME & ENRICHMENT
Walks, play, cuddles and plenty of interaction throughout the day.

📸 REGULAR UPDATES
Photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing while you’re away.

🚗 PET TAXI
Personal Pickup and drop-off can also be arranged.

💊 MEDICATION
Medication can be administered if required.

My goal is to make it feel like your dog is staying at a loving home rather than a commercial boarding facility. I’ll also try to maintain their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine as much as possible.

💰 Boarding starts at ₹500-950/night depending on the dog.
Daycare options are also available.

I’m currently welcoming bookings from pet parents in Bangalore.

If you’re interested or know someone who might need a safe, loving place for their dog, feel free to comment below. 🐾❤️

And if you’re a pet parent, I’d also love to hear what you look for when choosing a boarding facility and what would make you feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone.

Home-Based Dog Boarding 🐶

Hi everyone! I’m planning to start a small, home-based dog boarding/daycare service in Bangalore and wanted to see if there’s interest from fellow pet parents.
The idea is to keep it very personal and homely, I will board only ONE dog at a time, so your dog gets individual attention rather than staying in a crowded kennel.
I’ve also fostered dogs before, so I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs. That’s actually what inspired me to consider offering this as a small, personalised service.

What I’m offering🐾
🏡 Home boarding: a comfortable, safe home away from home
️Daycare: playtime, cuddles and supervised care
🍲 Homemade food & treats: wholesome food prepared at home
💕 One-on-one attention: only one boarding guest at a time
🎾 Play & enrichment: walks, playtime and plenty of attention
📸 Regular updates: photos/videos for pet parents
🚗 Pet taxi: personally pickup/drop-off can also be arranged
💊 Medication administration, if required

I want this to feel less like a commercial boarding facility and more like your dog staying with someone who genuinely treats them like family.
I’m also planning to maintain a clean, pet-friendly space and follow the dog’s usual routine as closely as possible ; feeding times, walks, naps, etc.
I’m thinking of starting at around ₹400–₹800/night for boarding, depending on the dog; with daycare priced separately.

I’d love to hear from pet parents here:
•Would you consider a service like this?
•What would make you comfortable leaving your dog at someone’s home?
•What price would you consider reasonable?
•What are the biggest concerns you have with home boarding?
•Anything you would absolutely want included?

Would really appreciate honest feedback before I start! 🐕❤️

Hit-and-run in Bangalore; truck number, dashcam footage & driver photo available. Police suggesting MV Act complaint instead of FIR. What should I do?

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice from people who have experience with hit-and-run/traffic accident cases in Bangalore, especially anyone familiar with the police/traffic police process.
Today, my car was hit by a mini truck on Balagere–Varthur Road near Sobha Dream Acres.
The truck hit my car and initially continued driving instead of stopping. I followed it and asked the driver to stop and exchange details. He had seen the damage but tried to flee. While I was following him, he also swerved the truck in a way that made me feel he was trying to intimidate me / potentially hit my car again. Eventually, he fled the scene.
Fortunately, I have quite strong evidence:
• Full dashcam footage of the incident
• The truck’s registration number
• A photo of the driver
• Photos of the damage to my car
• The approximate location and time of the incident
I first went to Varthur Police Station, where I explained everything and showed the evidence. They directed me to Whitefield Traffic Police Station.
At Whitefield Traffic Police Station, the officer told me that filing an FIR would take a long time. Instead, he suggested that I submit a written complaint stating that I don’t want an FIR but want action/penalty against the truck.
I have currently drafted a letter asking them to identify the vehicle/driver, take action under the applicable MV Act provisions, and inform me about the action taken.
I have not yet knowingly signed away any rights or stated that the incident didn’t happen.

My question is, I’ve understood that I won’t get any compensation for the damage even though it is pretty huge. What else can I do? I do not want to get into the circle of going to court and getting nothing out of it.

Has anyone dealt with a similar accident? What was your experience? What else can I do so that atleast something can come out of it and that bad driver is penalised.
Please help.
