Thoughts on salycylic acid 12??

I know its a dermatologist-prescribed ointment and I know it's pretty strong and can compromise the skin barrier. Am not asking whether I should use it i just wanted to know if anyone here has any experience using it.

Help me outtt!!! 😭

So I came to my home for summer vacation from college 3 days ago. everything was fine on the first day my skin had no texture at all. I don't eat much sugar or oily food and my diet is good, so I don’t know why my skin suddenly got so bad from the second day, with all these bumps. After washing my face, it looks almost like an infection. After a few minutes and applying moisturizer, it settles down a bit, but it still itches.

My routine includes:

Dermaco 1% Salicylic acid facewash, requil moisturizer and tretinoin 0.025.

Could this be because of a damaged skin barrier?? Please help me outt😭😭
