I am new to Vinted, ordered a summer dress to match my swimming bikini. Ordered from a reputable seller, she had very good reviews 5*.

I received a men’s Nike coal instead. The tracking number matches the one of the dress order. So I reported the wrong item.

The seller got very upset and thinks that I am lying & offered a refund. She left a negative review and blocked me.

I am very confused…

If she wanted to scam me, why would she offer a refund? But the tracking number matches and package was marked as ‘white’ (see pic 4). Could Vinted / relay mess it up? I am very confused and very upset

Update (27/04): I received a dress in a separate package with the same tracking number as the jacket. I suspect the seller posted both items to me in error and doesn’t want to admit it. I already received a refund to my card for the dress.

I updated the seller on the dress delivery in the Vinted review.
