Botched number transfer

I tried to setup my new BYOD Xfinity Mobile line, but I was given the wrong instructions and now I can't port the old number over. When I completed the order, I was sent an email with the instructions, "Open Settings" and "Tap Set up cellular". When set-up was complete, unfortunately the process created a new number for the new line. I brought this up to Xfinity customer service. They sent me this article and asked for the account number and port out pin from my previous carrier, which I gave (I received a message from my previous carrier US Mobile saying that the number transfer had been completed last night). I followed the instructions under "New line with BYOD phone" for an Apple product, but I am getting an error message when I try to transfer the number that says, "Sorry we are having trouble. The phone number entered is not eligible to be ported to Xfinity Mobile. Please try another phone number." I tried inputing different "Current mobile carriers" including Verizon Wireless, Verizon Prepaid, and even Other/don't know. I get the same error message each time.

I am not sure what else to do. If I can't keep my phone number, I will just have to cancel the plan.

“Stupid”

Hey Conaniacs. I have this exchange from a CONAF episode where Sona and Conan are bickering and Sona calls Conan “Stupid” At the end of a tirade and Matt giggles and just says, “‘Stupid.’ I like that.” He says it in the sweetest, most amused, quiet kind-of-way, as if he was talking to himself. I just love it. But I have no idea which episode it’s from.

Does anyone know?!

Southeastern US Analysis?

I am hoping the community can suggest a few people in the Southeastern USA to follow, meteorologist or talented amateurs, who offer a written or video analysis of local meteorology. I am in the Atlanta, GA area, so someone who writes about that area would be even better!

I am but a humble amateur who wants to better understand the why behind the forecast that I see on my Wunderground app. I would like to understand the forces behind the weather events better and have resources I can seek during severe weather for greater resolution on hazards. The apps and my local weather stations just don’t provide sufficient depth.

I’ve been following retired meteorologists Glenn Burns and Kirk Mellish, who are long-time living legends in the Atlanta Metro, but Mellish has stopped posting as much and I’d like to have multiple points of information, education, and forecasting.

Thanks so much for all who take the time to read and/or respond.

Aragorn inspired by the attack on Isengard?

I was just rereading the part of The Two Towers where Merry is recounting the emptying of Isengard’s of the hosts of Saruman as they march to the attack on Helm’s Deep. Merry describes how the ents patiently stand and watch the hosts depart before sacking Isengard.

It made me wonder, do you think this event inspired Aragorn with the idea to march on the Black Gate to provoke Sauron into emptying Mordor of his hosts, thereby clearing the way for Frodo and Sam? Do we have any evidence regarding Aragorn’s inspiration for the idea?
