So, a bit of a mystery here in Cultic, now I've seen plenty of cultists get domed by their trigger happy sniper or shotgunner standing a few feet behind the unfortunate victim, but I am stumped as to what killed that guy. I stopped firing to get the shotgun, then boom, head gone, either he has some insanely explosive headaches, or the Rookie picked up a bolt action again, which I know wasn't the case, but fun to think that he may help you out from time to time in survival, has anyone seen something similar? Or have a magic bullet theory that explains this? Any explanation would be appreciated.

Boss spoilers for Cultic if you haven't played it yet, which if you haven't, you really should. Every fight is like this, either a boss fight or pushing through an area, its this push and pull with the enemies, they have kinda stupid AI sometimes, but thats just a cover for how unpredictable they can be, be it throwing a perfect tnt throw at you, or kicking a lantern at you, they have plenty in their arsenal to be a threat, add in headshots you can hear from space, and you have an insanely satisfying combat system. I know ive been glazing this game alot lately, but thats because I want the creator to get all the money, just all of it, anything they may help the chances of a sequel, or a different game of similar quality to happen, I just really want more Cultic, whatever form that could take is fine by me.

This is perhaps, my favorite level and gameplay moment in this game, more Cultic glazing incoming, and spoilers if u haven't played it, which you should, because of moments like this, and many more. This game seems to get better with every playthrough, the mechanics are just so tight and well executed, so many satisfying moments during combat, it just never gets old. And this level is a blast, the rookie is punching way above his jump height with this particular fight, but the plentiful ammo makes this fight one of the few you dont have to constantly watch your ammo count. Unfortunately im limited to 3 min videos, otherwise I would have included the whole clip because seeing any gameplay could make more people experience this insanely good game.

Skip to 2:30 if you want to see a crazy damage tnt bundle, I left the whole clip in for those that enjoy others gameplay, i know i enjoy that, anyway, about the TNT bundle, im guessing what happened is that second bundle may have dropped into the hatch of the tank, its the only thing I could possibly think of happening, the first and 3rd bundles damage was really low compared to the 2nd one, the first wasn't a head on hit, but the 3rd was, so if anyone has any clue what happened on that second bundle, i would love to hear an explanation, knowing this game, its completely plausible that you can dunk a tnt into the tank, it wouldn't shock me at all.

Got Cultic the day it came to console, pre-ordered it even, i haven't ever pre-ordered a game before, love everything about this game. I'm sure plenty of people know about this, but I was blown away when it actually worked, and it can take out even the heavy armored cultists in one hit! A certain content creator labeled this game as having a "but wait, theres more" philosophy, and yeah, I have to agree, 10 outta ten game, just for this alone in my book, I never knew I wanted to use apparently molten hot coffee as a weapon before, until now...

In my hundreds of hours in this game, I have never seen, or noticed that there could be a cancer mouse running around, felt almost bad when I blasted him and heard a little yell. Just amazed at seeing something new this many hours in

Even the sound cut out, after what I can only assume was 50 to 100 critical hits happening all at once, we hoped it would catch up and smooth out, but it just never did, tried hitting the boss more just to see what would happen, and nothing, sad we didn't get to finish with our chicken buddy
