Hormone Replacement Therapy

I’m 55 and have been on hormone replacement therapy for over a year. My rheumatologist ordered a genetic blood test to confirm I have Gilbert Syndrome. I just came across something about Gilbert Syndrome processing estrogen differently. I had never read that before. Is it safe to take HRT (0.5 mg estrogen patch and 200 mg progesterone)? My gynecologist knows I have Gilbert but never mentioned it could be a conflict!

TRYPTYR and Xiidra

54F with Sjogrens, MGD, Blepharitis. Looking for the opinions of others who are using both of these medications for severe dry eye disease.

Within the past two months I started using both of these prescription eyedrops. I absolutely love the cooling sensation of the TRYPTYR from the refrigerator! I’m not sure if I should be keeping the Xiidra drops in the fridge as well, but I am! I’m not sure I’ve been feeling a big difference in eye dryness, but my eyes feel better. So far I love combination of these drops together!

Anyone else using these two in conjunction with each other?

Looking for personal experience with either Tryptyr or Tyrvaya for Sjogrens Disease dry eyes!

I’m off to the ophthalmologist next week and want to inquire about Tryptyr (an eye drop) and Tyrvaya (nasal spray). Both are to stimulate tear production. As always, siffering from extremely dry eyes, I’m always looking for a magic drop. I’ve tried generic cyclosporine and Cequa. They both stung my eyes badly to the point I couldn’t use them!

Thank you for sharing your experience with me!
