GitHub - webmproject/hdr-explorer

For the interested, this is the Github page of the HDR Explorer with live demo available as link below that is web-based tool for visualization and experimentation with High Dynamic Range (HDR) video and images, focusing particularly on the SMPTE ST 2094-50 standard (Incoming Eclipsa Video)

https://webmproject.github.io/hdr-explorer/

Edit:

System & Browser Requirements

To get the best experience and properly visualize HDR content on an HDR-capable display, HDR Explorer relies on modern web features. Specifically:

  • Chrome / Chromium: Version 131 or higher is recommended.
  • Experimental Web Platform Features: You must enable the "Experimental Web Platform Features" flag in Chrome by navigating to chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features. This activates the experimental HTMLCanvasElement configureHighDynamicRange API and advanced ScreenDetails properties (such as highDynamicRangeHeadroom) needed to query your display's native HDR capacity and render HDR highlights correctly.

Note: Without these experimental features enabled, HDR Explorer will still function but will fall back to SDR tone mapping or simulated headroom.
