So today I found in my home a baby pigeon with broken fingers on one feet. For now I’m trying to take care of it since local bird shelters do not accept pigeons. Does anyone have any advice?

For now I’ve given it some baby cereal (no milk) formula with warm water and plain water (even tho it doesnt drink much).

And for the fingers I’ve made a “shoe” with some cardboard and bandages to secure it, following advice from multiple videos on the matter.

Can I give it any other food? And how should I proceed? For now I don’t have the economical resources to bring it to a vet, but I want to do everything I can so it recuperates
