Hello, I was hoping to book a trip with my wife to the Maldives next year. I would like to use my points if possible and try and go in business class (return) from the UK. We have around 200k Amex points and 70k Avios at the moment.
Currently the flights come up as 260k Avios return per person from LHR. I was wondering if this is the usual price or if can be cheaper. Thanks!

Does anyone know if surgical registrars can do additional shifts outside of the usual on call locums. For example additional WLI registrar lists. Either their own lists or assisting consultants on the wknd or evening. I just got my NTN in plastics. Keen to maximise earnings! Thanks.
Are there more opportunities in London as a consultant. Specifically in a surgical specialty. For example consulting for healthcare or health tech companies. Perhaps managerial/leadership type positions in private hospitals. There’s also full time private jobs in Cleveland clinic or Mayo clinic. I imagine these will expand with time? I’ve also heard some consultants have equity in start ups or private healthcare. Any London consultants here have any insight into these opportunities, outside the usual NHS job and PP?
