I applied for a job got through two interviews and the last stage was a prison visit tour. They said they would get back to me by the end of the day on Thursday when I has the interview but I haven’t received anything. I sent a follow up email yesterday but still haven’t received a response but the vacancy now says offer in progress does that mean they gave someone else the job.

Also i called the recruiter I’ve been in contact with and she said she’s not dealing with the role so i have no idea who else to contact but she said she will contact the people she’s dealing with and give me a response it just seems a little unorganised. She said I should receive a response from them today and if I haven’t I should let her know. With everything I’ve said should I deem my application unsuccessful the offer in progress.

I went for an interview on Thursday it was more of a show around the place and meeting the team they didn’t ask me any interview questions only asked if I had questions at the end they said the hiring manager said the recruiter who I’ve been in contact with should get back to me the next day but I haven’t heard anything from them should I assume I haven’t got the job and they chose another candidate. I’ve been in contact with the recruiter through email not the hiring manager so I don’t have his email.

I just had a final stage interview for a student support coach role at a prison I already went through an interview before that. The manager showed me around the prison and briefly introduced me to staff. He didn’t ask me any interview questions so I don’t think I really got to shine in the interview. He just asked about my experience. He said they would get back to me by the end of the day yesterday but the recruiter hasn’t got back to me now I’m worried. I thought I had the job in the bag because it was the final stage interview and he didn’t ask me any questions just introduced me to the team and showed me around so I thought I had the job. What is the likelihood of getting the job after going through all of that. Also when should I email the recruiter for a response as the education manager said I would get a response on the same day.
