Has anyone got their abs module fixed and replaced. If so I'm curious on what the cost was.

I was driving my Mazda 5 2012 and all of a sudden I went to push on my brakes and there's somewhat spongy I have to press down a lot further on the pedal than normal. I also noticed when I put my foot on the brake and start the car the pedal slowly goes down further and further. When studying my own research although I'm not a mechanic I read it could be I think it was called an AbS problem with your brakes which is a very expensive fix I read that it's common in these vehicles anybody have this problem? Or it could be a master cylinder. I do have an apt coming up. Not sure if I should pay to fix it or just get a new car.

I just received a back payment of 5633 dollars out of nowhere. I just decided to check my card to see if anything got put on there and that was deposited at the end of March. I reported it right away but I am not sure what's going to happen to my benefits. I am on the case as well as my four kids. Does anyone know what California does about one time payments?
