Merge Studio had a thing running where it was like, 14000 points if your reached 75 within............. 45 days, I think? I powered through the levels for a few days before I just started... spamming the ads. I mean like. baseline, the game will collect up to 100 energy. And you can refill it 20 at a time watching ads, which run from anywhere from 5 seconds to like. 60, unfortunately (along with ones you cant click out of without hitting the app store or whatever). So about half way through I started understanding the game a bit more... saving all my powerups, playing the events, and once I hit higher levels I started spamming the ever loving CRAP out of those ads. I'd sit at my computer, living my life, and just clicking to run an ad whenever I remembered- sometimes I'd stock it up to almost 2000 energy then would fill the merge orders for the next few hours. I really stuck to it. By time I had hit the upper 60s levels, I was down to grinding out a level a day, which would easily help me beat the time limit for reaching lv 75.
Then a few days, I hit level 71.
I started getting errors. Ad errors. when I wanted to watch ads. I did all the bits- restarted my phone, cleared my cache, cleared some space on my phone- and every so often, just spamming the hell out of the ad button until it let me watch at least 2 in a row. People said it was a connection issue or the ad group was empty for me or whatever but I didn't believe it for a hot second because what do you mean I've been playing this game for a month straight, sometimes spamming straight up 100 ads in a row for energy, and NOW, about 7 levels from my goal, I'm getting ad errors?
And I mean. I was still getting ads. Usually during a play session, after you serve your first customer and then every so often afterwards, you'll get an ad, usually no longer than 10 seconds, but also, notably no perks.
So you're telling me I'm level 70 and I'm getting regular ads randomly but whenever I want a perk ad (mind you, its usually a longer version of the same ad) its suddenly 'not ready'? I now couldn't watch ad for extra energy. I couldn't do it to receive doubles for randomly suggested mid-merge items. I couldn't even use it in the game's store to grab my daily bonuses. Starting level 73 I couldn't get ANY ads at all. I really had to struggle- but luckily I had alot of items under my belt- items I stubbornly kept instead of using earlier which would have early game life aloooot better- But now here they were, and I was able to strong arm my way to lv75. You may be dumb add runner, but I'm so much stupider 💔
P.S- Also the amount of smile lines this game gave characters was about to put me into a coma, dawg, I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. :(

FINALLY. Out of two locations and almost a third of my life, I was getting out of retail- Mr. Walton's RetailMart in particular. I was finally getting a job. I did two phone interviews, got the job and was given the start date- November 1st, 2023. I think I got the job offer the first half of October. Great! I gave notice the same day, both text messages and a formally typed paper. More than 2 weeks.
I worked digital orders. Word got around quickly, everyone was found out I was leaving, I got alot of back pats and congratulations! (Some 'dont leave us here to burn' messages). I worked 40 hours for the next 2 weeks (And we get paid biweekly) and within that time, they cleared me off the schedule for November (Schedule is usually released 3 weeks ahead). The month ended in the middle of the week, and I got to go to my last day of work (Halloween!!) as Luffy, gave away treats, got a gift basket from my whole department, trashed my vest in the breakroom, and flipped off the building as I left.
Early the next day, I went to training for my new job. It was a salary job (yay, but yuck) which means I get paid monthly. I also was not willing to pay the insane amount for COBRA to keep my insurance- so I lost it the day I got terminated from RetailMart. This all meant that for 1 whole month I had no insurance and I had no money (Besides whatever I had on me). I worked for 2 weeks into November, waiting for my final check which should either be loaded or at least hefty, carried by all the paid time off i had saved up, easily carrying me though the rest of November. I hurt my knee in a SUPER STUPID way around the same time, but was afraid to get it looked at since I had no insurance (and no money. And no time I could take off yet) so I had to limp around for a few days.
The wombo combo: I get my mid-November 'final' check from Retailmart. Its like. 100 bucks. (INCORRECT). It does not have my saved time on it. It only has the only 2 days of the pay period I worked- the last 2 days of October. My eyes nearly fell out of my head.
I checked to see if I could log into the Retailmart employee app. I can. This is bad news. This means RetailMart still lists me an employee. I have not been terminated in their system. This actually means I still have insurance (and might have been charged for it, now that I think about it), and had been limping around training for my salary job, actually fully insured. But also that means I did not have money. Not for rent not for food not for medication not for car insurance... I had about 50-60 hours in paid time off that I was literally banking on getting with my 'last check' that week that was still in the void.
I try to call up there and of course I cant get through to anyone that matters. As the 'combo' part of the wombo combo, I get a notification. From the Retailmart work app. They literally added my ass back to the schedule on one of the upcoming weeks- probably right before thanksgiving.
That weekend I march back up there. I walk into the back. Office is empty as always. I wish to explode. I walk instead into the back where digital worked. You know. since I was. still apparently a digital Retailmart associate. People are pleasantly surprised to see me! Ask how I'm doing. I give them the pleasantries, then walk right up to one of the managers of Digital, in the middle of his work and went 'HI. YES HELLO. Hi. I was put back onto the schedule. I don't actually work here anymore. Please. please terminate me from the workplace, I gave my two weeks over a month ago. My money is being held. Please. remove me.'
Apparently disrupting the workday like so was more affective than a 2 1/2 week notice both texted and printed. It figures. I handed 10 years of my life to that company and still had to kick and scream to get away.

Not to go into sob pity mode, but my father passed away in January. He'd been collecting vinyls since well before I was born ('92) and he was a DJ for about as long. After some family drama, I have landed with his collection. Due to ALOT of stuff going on, theyve been sitting in my basement. I already took out at least 2 I wanted to keep, but I'm looking on advice to sell the others. I have no clue how many records I have, maybe.... 200??? (I wasnt given the time to count and I still need to go through them), and they're mostly rap, hip hop, rnb and stuff from the 70s and 80s.
When it comes to selling, what do you suggest? What websites (besides here.) Is Ebay reliable? What is the most reliable shipping method, how do you pack them? How do I know how much they might be worth? Hellllllp!!!! (thank you in advance). I just need some opinions before I tackle this task (and hopefully not get all in my feelings about it)
