So this is where I am.
The transmission on my 2017 Nissan Rogue AWD failed..completely. Took it to the dealer, 9k total cost.
Took it into a local transmission shop, they’re quoting 5.5k, replacement.
Working with a reliable local mechanic now but the official part with warranty itself costs around 5k.
I have tried talking to the dealership I bought from and also Nissan Goodwill but none of them are offering any help with the cost.
Do I have any chances of getting any pricing help?

P.s : trying to decide if I junk it to peddle for 1.9k and get something or try to get more time for it (which I feel might not be guaranteed even after replacement)
