Embryo measuring 8 days behind.

Hi!

At my 6w5d ultrasound they couldn’t find a heartbeat. I went back yesterday at 7w6d and the embryo was measuring 6w5d so I was basically a week ish behind. They did see a heartbeat though.

The doctor sat us down and told us to prepare ourselves and that there was a risk of miscarriage.

Any advice or hopeful stories? Thank you!

6w5d no heartbeat?

Hey everyone!

I had my first ultrasound today and basically I couldn’t not see the screen while they were doing my ultrasound so I didn’t see much. I met with the doctor after that was really positive, but didn’t explain anything to me just said that it was really early that they would schedule me for another ultrasound for next friday. They didn’t tell me they couldn’t hear a heartbeat. They just told me it was really hard to see at this point.

What does that even mean? I feel like they should’ve given me more details. Now I am scared that they didn’t want to upset me, but that there is something wrong going on. 🥹

Thank you!

Twins single embryo

How many of you had transferred a single embryo and resulted in twins? Did you have icsi or biopsy? Because the statistics online seems very low but it seems to happen more frequently. Just curious 😊
