Per the article:

"House Bill 2103 would close a loophole in the state that could let white nationalist groups establish communities under the guise of a private club or member-only organization by blocking such groups from restricting membership by race, color, and national origin to deny equal access to housing, employment, and public accommodations.

The bill also expands anti-discrimination protections for employment, housing, and public accommodations to a person’s sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression."

How do we feel about this? Does Rep. Day's vote truly represent the sentiments of District 187? I have reached out to Rep. Day for clarification as to "why" he felt a No vote was appropriate for this bill. I will post an update, if I hear one, because at face value this is frankly an embarrassment.

Rep. Day also voted "No" on House Bill 1800, which would amend language in the PA Title 23, closing a loophole that otherwise could lead to future bans on same sex marriage.
