Giving same meals 2 or 3 days? Pudding with lunch?!

Feeling like a rubbish mum this evening and looking for some insights!

I've come across what seems to be a really good resource from the Caroline Walker trust about what to feed babies at different ages. Mine is 8m and the guide for 7-9m olds says they should have breakfast, lunch with pudding and dinner! We're not even up to three meals yet (going to move to that in the next couple of weeks I just haven't had the headspace) - is anyone doing this?

Also, it gives a sample 7 day menu and every day is a whole different meal with entirely different ingredients. My approach so far has been to make something then divide it into two or three portions for that many days - for example, tonight I cooked her salmon, potato and spinach for the next three days. Am I totally messing this up? Should she be having different things every day?!

FTM in case the frantic tone of this post hadn't given me away 😂

Full cot naps?

At the big age of nearly 8m we've hit a milestone - baby will finally be put down asleep in the daytime! HOWEVER, she wakes up after 20 mins and then it's back to contact napping. In anyone else's experience, is this something that will improve with time perhaps as she gets used to it? Is consistency the answer or is it just creating bad associations with the cot?! Thank you

Not enough nap time?

We recently moved our baby (7m) to two naps because she was still buzzing at nap time on three, and she seems to be handling the long wake windows really well.

However, lately her naps are an hour maximum, whether that's contact or in the cot (although cot naps are a very recent development). I wouldn't be worried except, as soon as she realises we're going upstairs for bath and bedtime in the evening, she goes absolutely mental. Red face, can barely catch a breath, max volume scream crying. This continues for 30-45 minutes until she crashes to sleep either on my husband who does bathtime, or with me when I come up afterwards to feed her.

At night she sleeps really well, from 7:30 to 6:30 in the cot with two or three short wakes for milk.

Could her evening behaviour be overtiredness from shortish naps and long wake windows as a result, or is she just upset that it's bedtime? Can I/do I need to do anything to extend her naps?

TIA

I've already had switch bonuses from the banks currently saying you can't have received them before - but since then have changed my name and email address. My home address is the same though. Any chance I'll get away with it?!
