So I’m horrible at keeping secrets for holidays so I’m going to share what Im doing so I don’t spill the beans to her. I’m sure this will apply to all you mothers out there as well.

So I went and gathered all the pics I had of her and our baby and got a 20 page picture book made and wrote a poem for her on the first blank page before you get to the pictures.

She gives the hours without counting,
gives her strength when strength runs thin,
a love that doesn’t ask for perfect,
only that she show up again.

Even when her body aches,
even when she’s running low,
she is the calm within the chaos,
the place his little heart calls home.

So here’s to all she carries,
seen and unseen every day,
a love that’s always giving more,
than words could ever say.

Anyways, happy Mother’s Day all!
