For any gm part collectors there's a salty stock on ebay but it's pricey 😬 100 dollars pretty much
Nothing beats some real actual retro 🤌🏼 the shit just hits differently
This is as close as I'm gonna get to a full gm rifle I'd say 85 percent REAL GM Hydramatic parts, has complete Gm furniture (stock, grip, handguards), Gm BCG & bolt (that look practically new) that was refreshed with colt parts for peace of mind, Gm charging handle, Complete Gm upper receiver in beautiful condition with the correct Gm swoopy 3 sight wheel and Gm dust cover, Gm forward assist, NOS GM barrel (absolutely brand-new) with GM A1 birdcage, Gm FSB and gas tube, Gm early dimpled takedown pins, Gm bolt catch, GM trigger assembly and safety, and a Gm receiver extension. The only things not GM are lower receiver, buffer & buffer spring and LPK. Definitely the crème brûlée in my collection and something I thought I'd never be able to do and aquire all the parts
Threw on my hydramatic upper on the new lower and the anodizing are pretty close, this build should be done within 2 weeks as I have all my parts besides the receiver extension, buffer and buffer spring
Both cup holders were shot and I ended up finding a OEM trim piece that was modified for exactly what I wanted. No drinks needed in my nice kept car besides a water bottle
Didn't even hesitate when I got the notification, it shall be going on my m18 mod0 build
Found a entire gm hydramatic upper and parts kit to build an entire rifle with a bunch of new old stock gm parts with all the correct markings and numbers that gm had used, the barrel is new, comes with extra set of new Gm handguards and a Gm type D stock. This probably a once in a lifetime find since since these parts are 50 years old and are less commonly then colt and are in immaculate condition and paid what would be less than typical colt SP1 prices and being a huge firearm and car enthusiast why wouldn't I pass the opportunity to build a rifle by one of my favorite manufacturers
I love older gm products so I seem it only seems fitting to build a gm M16 clone with as much gm parts as I can source
