The stock speakers in my 2019 forerunner, which I believe is the JBL system, have finally kicked the can. I need to upgrade and I don’t really know a whole lot about all the various brands that Crutchfield recommends for my vehicle. I’m wondering if anyone has a recommendation for upgrade speakers which includes the dash tweeters, the front door, rear doors, rear hatch and sub. I don’t have an unlimited budget, but I’m also not looking for the cheapest speakers out there. I really want a good, high-quality system. I’m planning on getting an Alpine amp. So I’m just really looking for speaker recommendations.

This post is for all of your audio nerds out there. My speakers have taken a crap. I am planning to replace and upgrade the audio in my 4Runner and don’t know the first thing about the quality of the different brands.

I have, in my cart, the following:
Amp: Alpine S2-A55V
Sub: Pioneer TS-A2000LD2
Front Door/Dash: Pioneer TS-D69C
Rear Door/Hatch: Pioneer TS-D65F

I’m also going to order a lot of Siless sound dampening sheets and some other foam stuff to go around the lip of the speakers to help direct sound into the vehicle and not into the door cavity.

These were recommended after some extensive conversations with ChatGPT. My goals were to not break the bank but get VERY nice audio quality. Before I pull the trigger, I wanted to get the opinions of real people on the above plan.

I’m sure this has been asked before, so I’m sorry to repeat a question, but this sub is soooo extensive to search through every post.

I have a stock Nightshade. It’s time to replace the tires and wanted to put something more aggressive on. I was also considering a lift or leveling kit (but I’m reading the leveling option is not a favorite of some people here). My goals are to get a more aggressive look, not sacrifice too much ride comfort, and not spend more then 5k doing so.

Thoughts, suggestions, brands are welcomed. Thanks!
