I am diagnosed with PMOS/PCOS and I’m on Dianette, currently on my first 7 day break. I have an enlarged right ovary and they couldn’t see my left one. The pain started 9pm Monday, had to call 111, the pain lasted hours and hours with about an hour respite after taking cocodamol, but then the pain would come back. Pain in stomach, back and down my legs aswell as period pain and I’m guessing where my right ovary is too?? Also felt pressure and like I needed the toilet/trapped wind.

Today I was crying in pain, then I coughed and a huge clot came out. It was a long solidish clot with white jelly bits in it (hard to describe). Felt instantly better, no pressure or anything. I have never had anything like this. In some pain now but it’s manageable.

The doctor has said to continue taking the pill and to see how the next 6-9 months go. I can’t go through this pain again. Also said I don’t need a scan or anything and I’ve been prescribed pain killers.
