Liquid Pooling in Door

I noticed a sloshing sound when I accelerated and braked today and upon investigation it was the drivers side front door. When I pull the black plastic of the door up as I show (badly) in the video, water flows out. I attached a picture too in the comments of where exactly I mean. Has anyone else encountered this? The car is brand new so I have the warranty on it I’m just not sure if it’s worth the hassle of going to the dealership etc etc. if anyone has seen this, were you able to locate the source of the issue and/or fix it? I drained the water out until there was none remaining when I pulled the plastic back but I’m unsure where to go from here

Advice on an Analog to Digital Converter

Hi! I have a record player that I’m trying to connect to my soundbar. In order to do it I need to convert from the RCA output on the record player to the digital input on the soundbar. I’m way out of my depth here but I see there’s a ton of options varying wildly in price. Is there a huge difference in quality? I’m by no means an audiophile or anything like that I just want to listen to my vinyls on something a bit higher quality than the speakers on the record player. However I didn’t know if using a cheaper ADC would just kill the quality anyways. Sorry if this is a stupid question like I said I’m definitely out of my depth here, any advice is appreciated!

Looking into a Travel Credit Card

Hi! As the title suggests. I’m looking into getting a new credit card. I currently put most of my gas and groceries as well as some other things on my credit card and pay it off in full every month. I’m looking into traveling in the next couple months to a year and figured I’d see if a travel type credit card could work for me. I was intrigued by the CSP offer of 100,000 points if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months. I could manage this pretty easily as I can put my rent on the card (albeit with a 2.99% fee, so 30-40$ per month) and then just immediately pay it off that month. The math seems to make sense to me, but I’m very new to this whole world. I have one credit card that I got years ago and pay off in full every month but haven’t ventured into anything else yet. My credit card gets pretty much 1x points for every dollar spent, so I’m just looking to get the most bang for my buck I guess. Sorry for the rambling post, hopefully it made sense lol.

Current cards:
• KeyBank Key2More Rewards: $2,000 limit, 2018
• FICO Score: Experian 702, Transunion 750
• Oldest account age: 2018
• Income: $57,000
• Open to Business Cards: No
• What's the purpose of your next card? Travel and getting better points rewards.
• Do you have any cards you've been looking at? CSP/Capital One Venture/Venture One
• Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? I’m ok with either, most of the things I charge to my credit card are just gas, groceries, and occasionally other odds and ends.

Hi,

I’m about 3 years out of college, graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry and an M.S. in forensic science and law. I’ve been working in clinical labs for most of those 3 years post graduation, and as is often the case with these jobs, don’t get paid a whole lot. There’s definitely some room for advancement within the company, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to stay here (in the city I’m in as well as the company) long term.

I guess what I’m wondering is what is the best route to go with my degree/experience to make good money? I know that’s hard in the biology field, and might sound shallow, but at this point, being on target to be able to make a lot of money is what I value most. I’m willing to work in any (somewhat) related job in pretty much any area (geographically) to accomplish that goal.

I’ve heard that there is money to be made in industry in general, and more specifically industries like biotech or pharma, but I’m not sure what my chances of getting my foot in the door there or advancing to the level I want to are while not having a PhD/MD and an MS that’s not directly related to the field (Forensics really does apply in a lot of ways to general science jobs but people looking at resumes don’t often see/know that).

Just looking for advice on 1. What career paths are the most lucrative with a biochemistry degree, and 2. Getting a foot in the door with something like industry. Any other advice and experiences are appreciated! Sorry for the rambling post!
