What’s the alternative tank for, and why is it always worse than the tank I’ve selected for battle?

Is there a way to have a defensive line up (Squads) and alternatively an attacking line up? If not why not? Some squads that I’d take into pressing the OBJ aren’t the same as the ones that I’d use to defend one.

Probably overthinking it. But do you think camo smocks actually work? Specifically Germans but all nations broadly. Is it a complete visual cosmetic or have you found one outfit actually helps?

I’m not a historian but is it realistic for aircraft to penetrate armour? I’m not talking about bombs, but specifically machine guns. Seems to be quite common in Enlisted.

Has anyone else experienced this, or was I just unlucky?

I just broke into Allies BR IV and played a defence match at around 10am (UK time). I’m not sure if it’s because of the time of day or if there were a lot of bots, but every single squad seemed to be sitting one objective behind the one we were supposed to defend.

Nobody was actually on the active objective. The Germans literally just walked onto each point with barely any resistance. Every time we lost an objective, I looked at the map and could already see friendly squads falling back to the next one instead of trying to hold.

It made it almost impossible to defend or make any kind of counter-push after respawning because I was basically on my own.

Is this normal in BR IV? Is it bot behaviour, or is this just something that happens at quieter times of the day?

What’s a lower BR weapon that you love to use in higher BR matches? For me it’s the (BP) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gewehr 1888. A monster rifle with a 27.3 hit power. Pretty much an instant kill anywhere on the body. Long range. Nice easy to use sights. Not bad for a gun made around the same time Jack the Ripper was doing his thing.

Have you ever had a battle that you were proud of? Either a close call or complete landslide. Well it’d be cool to mark these battles with a little pin. After you in the game you can have a look at your “greatest battles”

Not sure if I’d have this a buildable province thing or just for each players hud. Just thought it would be an interesting concept to have more than just articles. But maybe not, idk.

Noob question I know. But how do the save games in career mode actually work? You save, come back to it and it’s auto saved progress. So now my pre transfers save has all of what I’ve done during the window. Do I need to have multiple saves?

What do you spec your transport squads into?
- Grenadier Squad (SMG x2 + Other)
- Machine gun Squad (LMG x2 + Other)
- Recon Squad (Sniper x1, Radio x1 + Other)
- Assorted (Radio x1, Medic x1, AT Gunner x1)
This is specifically to the German Sd.Kfz.7 squad. But will give me knowledge for other nations too.

BR3: Should I upgrade all squads with the M1941 Johnson or just keep the M1 Garand?
