Im f**** idiot

I got herpes in 2024. In two years, I’ve had only two outbreaks.
In September 2026, I had another outbreak. It healed, and in October, I kissed a girl I genuinely care about and we had a little intimacy.
Now she’s telling me she has a pimple on her upper lip, and I’m fucking scared.
What if I passed it to her? 😞
I feel guilty, scared, and keep wishing I could go back and be more careful. I don’t even know if it’s herpes, but the thought of hurting someone I care about is eating me alive.
I just hope she’s okay. 💔

debt trap in my 20s 6L

I seriously need advice on loan settlement.

In today’s generation, everything is online and spending money can feel almost effortless. For me, it started with just a ₹20K credit-card limit. I kept spending without thinking about the consequences, and eventually things got out of control.

Now I’m sitting with around ₹6L of debt, and I’ve reached a point where I genuinely cannot afford to repay the full amount.

My current loans are:

  1. SMFG — ₹1.5L @ 16% p.a. • 4 EMIs paid • Outstanding principal: ₹1.28L
  2. Fibe — ₹4.08L @ 24% p.a. • 3 EMIs paid • Outstanding principal: ₹3.73L

I know this happened because of my own financial mistakes. “Don’t spend money you don’t have” is something I learned the hard way.

At this point, I want to understand the proper/legal process of loan settlement in India because I don't have the financial capacity to fully repay these loans.

For people who have actually gone through this:

  • How does settlement work with NBFCs like SMFG and Fibe?
  • When do lenders generally consider a settlement?
  • How much settlement amount is realistically negotiated?
  • Does settlement require me to stop paying EMIs first?
  • What happens to my CIBIL/credit report?
  • What documents should I get after settlement?
  • Are there any legal/recovery issues I should be aware of?
  • Is there a better option than settlement that I should consider before taking this step?

I’m not trying to escape the debt. I’m trying to find a realistic way out of a situation I can no longer financially handle.

Once I’m out of this, I’m done with credit cards and unnecessary loans. I’d rather use savings + debit card and spend only money I actually have.

If you've personally gone through an SMFG/Fibe settlement, please share your experience and what you wish you knew beforehand
