Has LL permanently discontinued a bunch of classic styles of men's pants (LTT, some ABCs, etc)?

I was looking on the website recently to refresh a couple different types of pants I have, only to find out that they seem to all be gone.

  • Original LTT joggers, in the same abrasion resistant fabric as the original shorts. I checked about 2 months ago to get some and I saw there was only one obscure color left in only one size, and they were just bringing in the new textured LTT joggers, but the phone rep said that they were simply in the process of refreshing colors and the originals would be back. But there have been no re-ups of the original since then, and apparently the phone reps are now saying that the textured ones are actually the complete replacement, despite being a different fabric and a different fit?

  • ABC pull on pants: Obviously the joggers have a new updated version (to mostly negative opinion, as I'm sure most know), but again as of a couple months ago they still seemed to be selling the pull-on pants (no elastic cuffs) In the range of different fits and colors. Now there seems to again be only one color in one size on a final sale, no refresh or updated version.

  • Various ABC button styles in alternate fabrics/cuts like utilitech / light utilitech/canvas/skinny, etc.

I know that these, especially the first two, were/are very popular, any idea why they're being killed off?

Lesser quality of current repp ties vs classic ones?

Hopefully this won't upset anyone too much, but am I crazy to think that the quality of the current BB ties - specifically the classic wide and thin striped repp - is much less than they used to be?

I haven't worn, or owned (technically some are probably in a box in my parents' basement since the Obama admin) a BB tie in about 10-12 years, but I used to all the time as a kid, since I went to a jacket/tie high school. I just purchased some online about a week ago, a I have some reunions coming up and they would be ideal for that. The articles I got in the mail definitely seem different than what I remember.

BB still says they are made in Italy, I assume the fabric (although that could be any one of a dozen different mill) but these feel noticeably thinner and lighter than the old ones. And the stripe pattern appears to be printed on when I could absolutely swear that the old ones were woven in.

Am I speaking out of school here, or did they really start cutting a lot of corners after their semi-recent bankruptcy?

Any lined shorts like the Zeroed In?

I got a pair of the Zeroed In shorts and I really liked the fit and look and fabric performance when I'm sweaty, but it seems like they don't come in a style with a liner, and I would really like that for the gym. Does LL make anything comparable that comes in a lined version?

Specifics that I liked:

  • Material that is substantial, not like the flimsy gym short fabric of the pace breaker, but not too stiff like the more casual wear shorts
  • Drawstring on the OUTSIDE (having the knot up against my bare skin, as it would be on a lined short is very uncomfortable).
  • Waistband that is stretchy and secure but still somewhat forgiving.

Other features like Zip Pockets or phone holders or anything would be welcome but not necessary. I really just need a basic short for all around fitness, and I don't really keep anything on me when I'm actually working out.

Likelihood of foam degradation in new [very] old stock running shoes?

How much will the quality of the foam in unworn Altra Escalantes from quite a few years ago degrade over time just from sitting?

I have a very specific Altra shoe (Escalante 1.5) that I have been wearing for years, and while I built up a pretty good stock of them when they were still being made I see that I will eventually run out. After more than a year of searching I was able to find a couple new pairs of them, but they are probably from 2018 or 2019. They are brand new in the box never having been worn, and they seem to have been kept well although (I don't know the exact temperature/humidity/etc conditions).

Is running shoe foam, and specifically the Altra formulation from that era, likely to have significantly worsened or degraded over the years, and I'm going to be disappointed if I get these and start running in them, or all things being equal should they be all right?

Characters saying "thank you" in English the OG Dragon Ball sub?

So I was watching the original Dragon Ball anime, with the Japanese audio and English subtitles. All the characters are, obviously, speaking Japanese except... every once in awhile one of them, frequently Goku, says in [heavily accented] English, "thank you" (more like "sank-yoo") which of course matches the text subs. I listened to each of the scenes a couple times, starting at random intervals and without looking at the subs so I wasn't prompting myself, just to be sure I wasn't hearing things, and it's definitely "thank you" and not arigato.

Is this a joke in the show, or is this just some quirk of actual Japanese that I'm not understanding?
