Thyroid Nodule
Hello everyone! 32F I started tirzepatide in May, toward mid July I started getting a tight feeling in my throat that would come and go. A few weeks ago it started to become constant so I went to the doctor. They ordered an ultrasound and found a 3cm nodule. I’m scheduled for a biopsy next week. My endocrinologist said it has nothing to do with the tirzepatide and could’ve just been coincidental timing but I’m having a hard time believing that. I’m conflicted whether I want to keep using it. My thyroid labs were normal before I started and are still normal. Has anybody else had this experience or similar? I’m totally not blaming it on the tirzepatide, besides possibly this, I’ve had a great experience on it. Just trying to plan out my next steps.
