Dave Mustaine is such a brilliant musician. He literally got kicked out of the band that was supposed to help him achieve worldwide fame and then formed another extremely successful band by himself. Even if he went a bit crazy when he was drunk, the guys from Metallica could have just stopped drinking with him instead of removing him from the songwriting process. I don't understand why they would kick such a transcendent musical talent from their band unless they were literally scared of him
