Are the Nano-Air Light Jacket / Hoodie new products? They don't have any reviews

Can't find any info about them. Wondering if they are new for this year or something? Are they the same as the Nano-Air Light vest?

3 month review for Shokz Openfit Pro

I am not sponsored by shokz or anything like that. Just a regular dude and I bought the Open Fit Pro for full price.

I have had them for 3 months (since feb 25). I mostly used wired headphones before this, so I am new to the wireless earbud space. I tried out the Pixel Buds Pro 2 for 2 weeks before returning them, as I had a hard time keeping them in my ear during exercise. Here's a brief summary of my experience:

- Sound quality is great by my standards, which are not high. I don't listen to much music at all, but I listen to tons of audio books and they sound great imo.

- Comfort is 10/10. It took me a week or two to get used to them and finding the right position, but now I almost forget they are on. Sometimes I have them on for 5-6 hours and have no issues with them.

- Physical buttons are great. After using the capacitive buttons on the pixel buds, the physical buttons are way better! I guess it's personal preference, but I like them.

- Wearing detection works consistently, but I wish the audio would pause a bit sooner after I take out an earbud. On the Pixel buds, the audio would pause near instantly.

- Companion app on android is nice and works well. No complaints.

- Mic quality is good! I now use these for work as well, and the mic quality is great. No complaints from my coworkers about mic quality. It's probably not better than the dedicated headset I was using for work before I got these, but it's definitely good enough.

- Active noise cancellation is pretty good for an open ear bud. I can only compare it to the Pixel buds pro 2, and obviously it's nowhere near as good as that. At home, it easily blocks out the noise of the HVAC, the space heater I usually have on in the winter, my NAS/home lab, etc. It's not completely eliminated but reduced significantly. On my walks, I do have to turn the volume up a bit, but it does a decent job of reducing traffic noise. I have a LOT of airplane noise near me, and that usually isn't blocked out and I can't hear what I am listening to. I also wish the active noise cancellation in high wind was a bit better. I do notice the audio turns 'hollow' sometimes when walking outside, as if it's trying to calibrate the ANC, then comes back to normal a split second later. Have only noticed this outside. It's not a huge problem for me, so I haven't reached out to support about it. When I am at the grocery store, I notice they block out a LOT of background noise. It's great. The app has a slider to let you control the level of ANC, but I haven't noticed it doing much and usually just have it maxed out. Overall, I am happy with the ANC, considering it's an open ear bud.

- Battery life is pretty great and as advertised. I usually have to charge the case every 3 - 4 days and it charges fully in ~30-40 mins. I usually charge when I am at my desk, connected to a PC that is powered off. If I used a dedicated charger, I imagine it would charge faster. The individual ear buds easily last me the full day too, and dropping them in the case for a short time refreshes their charge quickly.

- Form factor is nice. I thought the case would be too big for my liking, but it's not bad at all. I got used to it quickly and don't mind it.

- Multi-point connectivity is amazing and works really well. I have an android phone and a MacBook for work and they switch between the two seamlessly. It's extremely convenient! Calls get prioritized, so whichever device gets a call, will hold / try to take over the buds. For example, if I am on a call on my macbook, and I play a youtube video on my phone, the buds continue to play the call audio. But if I get a phone call on my phone while already in a call on my macbook, it will switch to the phone. I rarely get phone calls, so that's not an issue for me. Overall, I love how seamless it is!

- Shokz support was surprisingly responsive. I had an issue about a month after I got them where the buds wouldn't disconnect from my phone after I put them back in their case. I reached out to support and got a response within 24 hours with some things I could try to fix it (cleaning the metal contacts on the buds and in the case, firmware reset, etc). They also offered to replace the unit. But cleaning the contacts resolved the issue and it hasn't happened since.

Overall very happy with my purchase!
