How am I doing?

First grow, it’s been tough as hell she’s been through so much but she’s a tough cookie and in her 5th week as of today. I learned so much on this journey, and I’m still learning, please let me know your honest opinions below, many thanks

So I think this grow is cooked 😭

When I started, I used a mix of fox farm ocean forest on the bottom, and a mix of coco coir with fox farm at the top. After a while I noticed all of the bottom leaves were turning yellow, and being this is my first grow, I had no idea I had to dial in my ph. Was told by my brother that I don’t need a ph meter or ph down because the soil will buffer it out (worst mistake). I finally got a ph meter and ph down, but I think it’s too late for the bottom leaves 😭 I watered twice with a water ph of 6.5, then 6.2 days after. On top of that the bottom stem is very skinny, compared to the one up top. So idk, should I just start over now?

Update on first time grow! (Recent pics at the end!) Her leaves are a bit droopy, I raised the light to about 18 inches and watered the soil Sunday afternoon

New grower here, how am I doing? Idk if this is stretching or early signs of root rot (first two pics are recent ones)

First time grower. How am I doing? (Please read description)

Idk lads, I think I’m fucking up lol. This is my first grow, I started this red strawberry banana auto last week Friday, as it grew, I had my lights at 18 inches and 25% (I have a mars hydro 2x2, with dimmable lights) and I noticed it started to stretch. So my brother who is also a grower, said to hook it up to the toothpick and tie it with string, lower the light distance and increase it. I put it on 60 and lowered it to 12 inches on Sunday. This picture was taken yesterday. I tried to see if it’ll stand on its own but it continued to stay in the position it was stretching in. Did I do something wrong? Any pointers? Tips? Again, this is my first ever grow. I’ve never grown anything in my life.
