How would all you DM’s rule creatures using weapons?
I play [Main Character], level 9. Being a martial class definitely requires some amount of physical prowess to make attacks, right? The issue here is that he’s a 2 ft tall 20 lb kobold so idk if hes allowed to make attacks. Once we thought this through, my DM said that she would allow it, which made me wonder; are small creatures not usually meant to attack things? (He wields a Bow of Instant Win, a rare longbow which auto kills anything)
Thinking about it in game, we see it as humorous and use the rule of cool that my kobold just picks up and arrow and struggles the entire turn to lift a bow 3x his size and his arrows only hit because his swarm helps them glide through the air. But I’d imagine a lot of other DM’s may use dice or something to resolve attacks but my DM burned his books since he's allowed to throw out any rule he wants and we're not allowed to read anything because metagaming.
How would you all treat this?
Jogwheel is snapping to hot cues and I need it to stop
Serato, Pioneer DJ, DDJ-REV1
Friend is having a house party and asked me to play a set. They let me borrow their deck to practice since it's nicer and has more knobs than the beginner deck I have.
While preparing and setting up hot cues I noticed that using the jog wheel snaps back to the closest previous hot cue.
I also noticed that the needle icon that spins around as the track plays changes color based on the hot cue it passes.
I need this to stop. How do I turn it off?
I've looked around and people say pressing play and pause stops this and let's the jogwheel scroll like normal but that is not working.
Does anyone know how to prevent the jogwheel from jumping to cues? I am a beginner and I'm certain this is a useful feature for pros but right now it's messing with my flow and I need it to not do this at all.
