Charge on solar update
Does someone sees extra features here with a Tesla like the tutorial explains?

Does anybody has some experience with the new smart charging feature? It seems like it’s replacing the ‘older charge on solar’. The new smart charging/ low cost charging seems to work with import & export limits.
In the release notes it says (smart charging will prefer solar and if this is not sufficient charge from grid during off peak periods…)
However I cannot find any documentation about this.
Why doesn’t FM deactivate the power button while board is level, both sensors are engaged, and no wheel-slip is detected?
Seems very unsafe that you can always press the button and nosedive, which you probably won’t do but what if the button fails? I know it is Normally Open, but if the loop closes the board just turns off… sounds risky
Based in Belgium/EU. I have a 9-month-old Pint X that occasionally gives a battery temperature hot/cold error, even though diagnostics show the battery temperature is within the normal range. Rebooting clears it, but it can return the next day.
FM initially said it was a controller issue, so the controller was replaced. The exact same error returned about a week later.
It’s a newer production Pint X, so I assume the known pinched battery-wire issue should already be fixed.
Could this still be a thermistor/wiring/connector/BMS or software issue? FM is now telling me I need to buy a new battery module.
I also saw on another forum that if it’s a sensor issue rather than the battery cells, it should be covered by FM’s 1-year warranty. Is that correct?
And since I’m in the EU and the board is only 9 months old, wouldn’t the 2-year legal guarantee normally cover a defect like this?
Any advice/experience appreciated!
Since the latest firmware update I noticed sometimes in the morning my powerwall solar panels is only producing 0,2 kw while it should be close to 2kw by this time. Not a shade problem because previously when I turned it off with the side switch and on again it immediately went up to 2kw. It’s like it’s stuck in a faulty MPPT. I’m not home right now. Can I fix it remotely and is this a known problem?

What’s the deal with smart charging, and enhanced charge on solar? To this day my powerwall on time based control with dynamic tariffs always shows paused for PW priority… who has some experience with this? Is the enhanced version the solution?
Is Tesla legally allowed to disable a powerwall if they ‘think’ it is not installed by a ‘Tesla’ certified installer?
First I noticed the powerwall kept exporting even when the sell price was negative. I thought I could solve this by setting up charge on solar. So the excess goes into the car. However it always says paused for powerwall priority even when pricing is negative, so it is costing money to export…
I don’t use any third party api, just default Tesla integration. I also noticed the graphs look very weird… does someone has a solution for this or any experience with charge on solar and time of use, when does it start charging?
