Another go to Rider ,1990 Robinson Pro

Just built this up from mostly parts lying around Bought F&F which came with cranks, power disc and Tange BB. Rides smooth ,sealed bearing Suzie hubs and brakes that work well. A mtb/road seat because it’s more comfortable!

His and Hers Italianess

We have had these 10 years plus now. My aluminium De Rosa weighs 7.3kg. I’ve had carbon bikes but it’s something about this one that is just right for me.
The Bianchi , well she just loves it
Both have Campagnolo groupsets.
Shame the roads are in a terrible state as they might be used a bit more again (UK)🙁

Bespoke one of one maybe

So i picked this frameset up last year as an unknown twin top tube. After plenty of research I’ve narrowed it down to a frame builder called Mike Kowal. He worked at the Reynolds factory (UK) He was known for road bike frame building but also made the Wilson twin tube freestyler for Steve Wilson bikes. I got a message from Steve saying this was not one of his bikes but probably a one of frame/forks made in the same factory by Mike. If you compare a Wilson freestyler to this the only difference is the Torker style gusset. It has a short 17 1/2” TT and was made up as a mini/expert. It’s brazed and is in still great condition. I spoke to a guy who sold it a few years ago and he said his dad bought it off someone who had it specifically made. Maybe I will never know 100% what it is unless I can find Mike Kowal!

Sparrowhawk in Penzance

Not every day I look outside the kitchen window to see a SparrowHawk I watched his(?) pluck and digest of a sparrow in my neighbours back yard. 30 mins later still there on the nearby roof. Fascinating

1985 MRD Badlander. Designed by Tim March and Neil Stevens. I have the original decals too that I got off Tim that should have been fitted when new instead of the race bike decals thanks to Tran Am mistake. Tim wasn’t too happy as they refused to fit the correct ones. Rickman made with brazed 531 tubing. Last picture is outside the old Mousehole BMX Centre which I went to a lot bitd. As seen in We Were Rad book
