A few years ago I was reading an article on the headless horseman archetype and was surprised to find out an Indian version. In this the horseman wasn't really a negative figure but someone who died defending his kingdom. Thought I'd spin my own version of it.
Fun fact, an author friend of mine was so transfixed by the image that he decided there was more to the story, and we've been working on an epic sword and sorcery graphic novel featuring the Headless Horselord as the protagonist!
