Thankful for ChatGPT - wish more were open to AI usage
I have ADHD, depression, and anxiety. It's been very hard for me to budget properly without getting overwhelmed. Usually, I try, and do "okay", but not without a lot of stress and feeling like I'm never going to catch up. It's been hard for me to keep track of tasks, keep track of if I'm spending too much on one thing, etc.
I have been successfully staying on a budget and built a savings account (properly), for the past 3 months because of how easy it has been with Chat. I just say "okay, here's my paycheck amount, here's my bills." I'm able to see my spending, and able to track so much easier.
I sometimes feel embarrassed that I use AI for this, and I'm afraid to tell friends given how many are "anti-AI." I used to share the sentiment, but this has genuinely been able to change my life for the better, and I'm starting to build healthier habits. Sorry - not sorry, but I'm so glad ChatGPT is a thing.
Guess this is more of a rant than anything else. But moreso wondering if anyone has had this same experience of AI helping with a genuine life task, and how you went about sharing about it with others and not getting the typical "'eye-rolls', can't you do it yourself?"
