Fraud?

Have you ever had Hilton dig deep in your account activity and pull an expired credit card to pay for a room stay?

I reserved a room for the Peachtree Road Race July 3-4 in Atlanta. My son bailed and I canceled my reservation on June 14th. I had to call the hotel directly to cancel. I’ve had a busy work travel schedule and didn’t follow up closely for a cancelation email.

Apparently my room didn’t get canceled. Today, I received a folio saying I checked in and paid for a late check out using a card # I didn’t recognize.

Called Hilton Honors, they opened a case said someone will look at it Monday. They called the hotel and they relayed a BS answer.

I did a google search in my email and found a card with that number. The card expired Feb 2026.

I used a different card to reserve the room. I guess it didn’t have enough available credit when they tried to close out the reservation and they someone pulled an old card. I’ve never stayed at this hotel before and o thinks it’s been four years since I used that card.

Like WTH?

HH Points for this stay have been added to my account.

Before and Current NSV!

I’m at a work event this week and I’m still not recognizing this person in the mirror. Four years ago I was wearing a tight men’s 2XL work polo. Last night I cautiously asked for a size medium T-shirt to wear during today’s activity. I started Wegovy Jan 2025. SW 251.3 CW 187. I’m only 9lbs from my goal weight.
