I know there's a lot of opinions in this game. What's your hot take? Mine - Longevity is overrated. Sometimes when a scent lasts all day it becomes too much, or I'm over it after 8 hours. I love reapplying or trying something different. Sometimes I get 3 SOTDs in one day depending on the day.

Guerlain is such a great house. So many underrated gems. Curious what everyone's favorite is? Least favorite? My top 3 are Ideal EDP, Homme EDP, and Vetiver! Could probably be happy with just those 3 alone!

Well it's hot AF outside today in Phoenix so I'll be inside mostly with the occasional pool time. Heat got me thinking about Dubai and my travels there, and have also been exploring the Middle Eastern houses a bit more, mostly "inspired by" with the occasional niche house other than Amouage (Arabian Oud/Gissah, etc.). What's everyone's favorite or go-to inspired by or niche ME house?

I know Lattafa and Armaf are pretty popular dupe houses, but how in the heck do they get these scents so close to the OG? I know "dupes" can be a bit frowned upon in some circles but honestly they're pretty interesting and have come to like them a bit more over time, and can be budget friendly for some newbies too.

After smelling and studying hundreds of fragrances, I've narrowed down to some of the top notes that seem to have most common theme for me. Of course I love! Are those such as aquatic notes, musk, vanilla, cedar but these three seem to stand out the most across the board. What are your top notes that you love? Would love to see what people think!

Ok guys, after spending the last couple of weeks testing a handful of Imagination dupes, here's where I landed!

For every test, I wore the OG Imagination on my right side and the dupe on my left. I also sprayed the inspired-by fragrance in a couple of extra spots so I could get a better feel for its overall performance throughout the day.

It's been hot AF here in Phoenix 🥵🥵, so I figured these past two weeks would be the perfect time to put them through a real-world test.

For my rankings, I only paid attention to two things, and I think these are the only things that mattered, at least to me.

- Closeness to the original

- Longevity

Price, bottle, and presentation didn't factor into this.

Montagne Imaginary 9/10

This was my favorite overall. To my nose it was the closest to the OG while also giving me the best longevity. If I could only keep one, it'd be this one. Glad I have a full bottle and a backup!

AP Marwa 8.5/10

Very close to the original with great performance. The dry down is a little different, but it's still an excellent interpretation. I'll be getting a full bottle of these soon.

GOS Full House 8.3/10

Another really solid take. It has its own slight twist but definitely captures the DNA and lasted well on my skin. This one slightly edges AD but honestly they're so close it's hard to tell.

Aqua Dubai 8/10

Still a great fragrance. It's a little less accurate than the others to my nose, but it's still unmistakably inspired by Imagination and performs well. Tad synthetic but that wears off after awhile. Still a beast though and great if you're on a budget.

Honorable Mention Onyx Silver

This one is more of a twist on the OG than a true clone, but I actually really enjoyed wearing it. It has its own personality while still giving you that familiar Imagination vibe, and I think it's absolutely worth trying.

Overall, I honestly enjoyed wearing all of them. None are bad, and each has its own personality. These are just my opinions based on side-by-side testing, and of course everyone's nose and skin chemistry will be different.

Curious where everyone else ranks these or if there are any other Imagination-inspired fragrances I should throw into the next round.

Just got this delivered and it's real solid! Very happy with this one since I love Vetiver. Opens up a bit like Sauvage but the dry down has its own personality. If you find this on a deal jump on it like I did. Let's go USA!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Was trying to find something bright and fresh from BDK and saw this one. Has anyone picked this up or tried it? Looks like it's close to Tygar with the grapefruit but hard to tell with the notes. Could be a potential banger but reviews aren't too promising...Thanks!!
