Early planning

No idea if this is the right sub to be posting this in, my apologies if not 🤝

I’m still a minor, so it feels silly for me to be planning this far ahead - but I’m going to be completely honest when I say I know that I am behind in schooling. I have a 4.0 GPA through online schooling and am on track to graduate early, but my parents literally encouraged me to cheat throughout. They’re incredibly religious and believe schooling to be a waste of the time you should be spending teaching and learning the Bible. I’m not religious, and I want to go to college. I’ve always wanted to study psychology, take some art classes, maybe join something like theatre or band - but my parents stripped me of every opportunity to do that.

I’m currently working on going back and catching up to where I need to be academically, but at my current level, I’m far behind. I’d say my math skills are somewhere around 4th grade, since I’ve always struggled with numbers and my parents never encouraged me to do better. I’m on pace with English and reading, and I have no idea where I’m at in the various sciences and history. To add to this, I’m unmedicated and have ADHD, so it’s very difficult for me to be able to motivate myself and focus long enough to actually help my case.

I know I’m probably going to need to go to a community college and take remedial math classes once I’m 18, but I also need to focus on being able to move out of my house as soon as possible. That’s where it gets tricky.

My older sister struggles with mental health issues and lives in the Nashville TN area, so I’d like to stay within a 2-3 hour distance of there at the most so that if there’s an emergency, I can drive to her.

Basically, I’m here to ask for advice. More specifically, I’m wondering if there are any particular colleges (likely community) that would suit my needs. (2-3 hours at the most from the Nashville area, have good remedial courses, either have dorms or are in an area where housing isn’t too inaccessible/expensive, and would perhaps have a theatre club I could get into if I wanted). I know it’s a difficult ask, but I figured it’s better to see if there are any obvious choices/decisions to make for my circumstances.

If anyone has advice please share, and thank you for reading. Sorry if I summarized anything too much, if there are any questions I’ll answer them in the replies :)

Looking for the best cheap digicam

Hi! I’m about to go on my first trip to Europe (I’m American) and I’ve been looking for a decent quality digital camera on the lower end of the price scale. I keep getting advertised digital cameras on TikTok (it goes through phases, last time it was skirts for some reason 💀), but I figured it would be better to just ask somewhere online rather than buy some random piece of plastic.

I don’t need anything fancy, after all, it’s only for a single, 10-day trip. I’ve only got maybe up to 45$ to spend, so the cheaper the better without it being outright rubbish quality.
