Adukale is the worst brand of sweets. It is a scum. I bought some sweets for visiting elderly in our family. The sweets were full of fungus. see attached. When I showed it to the store manager, he said you bought a sealed box and he is not responsible for what is inside of this. Please beware of this brand and stay away and stay healthy.
FYI. I will be filing ITR under new regime. Should i get this corrected? or file my ITR-1 correctly reporing this as interest from deposit. Will there be any impact?
My taxable income for FY2025-26 is 2.28 lacs + Exempt income of Rs. 2 lacs from PPF and Komal Jeevan payout. I had file for the past 4 years as my income then was more than basic limit.
I will be proceeding overseas for my PhD studies in Aug-2026. I have some funds in my name to the extent of 25 lacs in multiple deposits which will mature over a period of 2 years starting May-2027 to Jun-28. I will also get Komal Jeevan maturity payment in Aug-2027. Can I transfer these funds to my mother and ask her to deposit this in her name? What is the correct way to proceed that I dont have tax to be paid on this income both india and in Europe. Pls suggest the best way forward.
My son is visuallay challened with 85% severity. He will get a gift from my mother of around 25 lacs. Can I invest this gift in a joint name in GOI Savings Bonds with myself as second applicant/holder? Will this income be clubbed with mine if I be the 2nd / joint holder of this investment. The reason I want to add myself as second holder is to make it easier for handing bank accout etc on his behalf. Are there anything else that i need to be aware of.
