Door ding took paint down to substrate; DIY touch-up, body shop, or pursue other driver?

2026 white Model 3. Another driver opened his door into mine in a parking lot. Sentry caught the impact, his plate, and him inspecting/wiping his own door afterward, but he left no note.

Damage is small but went through the paint and is right on/near the body line. Photos attached.

I’m debating:

  1. DIY primer/base/pearl/clear touch-up

  2. paying a body/PDR shop privately

  3. pursuing his insurance

Main concern with insurance/body work is potentially creating a vehicle-history/Carfax record over relatively minor cosmetic damage.

For anyone who has repaired something similar: what did you do, what did it cost, and how did it look afterward?

Particularly interested in anyone who has successfully DIY-repaired Pearl White (PPSW).

Requesting SUBSCRIBE_TO_SUBREDDIT enablement for topiclingo-daily

Could the user-actions subscribe permission be enabled for my app topiclingo-daily, please? Same situation as this earlier thread: permissions.reddit.asUser: ["SUBSCRIBE_TO_SUBREDDIT"] is declared in devvit.json, version 0.0.23 is published, approved, and publicly listed, and the app is installed on its home subreddit (r/TopicLingo) — but subscribeToCurrentSubreddit() (triggered only by an explicit user button tap) still fails with not allowed to run as user: permission not granted for [SUBSCRIBE_TO_SUBREDDIT]. From that thread it looks like this needs a per-app enablement on Reddit's side.

Thank you!

[DEV] New to making games. I wanted an addictive puzzle game, but I can't tell if this is fun or really boring. Should I bother building more levels or just cut my losses for now and move on to other projects?

I had an idea for a game, but when I created it, it didn’t turn out as good as I had imagined. I wanted something unique and different from the other puzzle games I’ve played. However, this one ended up being just a different version of the pipe, water games, and similar ones. I still enjoyed playing it, but it seemed too easy, and I finished all the levels in just a few minutes. I’d like to get an outside opinion on whether it’s even worth building more levels. Right now, it’s only available on Android. I’ve never made a game before, but I’ve created apps. I don’t yet have the refined beauty or flair that I’ve seen in other games. Maybe I’ll get there eventually, but as a solo developer, I doubt I can compete with the gorgeous games that others are developing. However, I do enjoy creating things that are smarter, so I feel like my time playing games isn’t wasted. The game is called Bell Circuit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.proliferaite.bell_circuit

Got tired of every 2 player one-phone game being a reaction test, so I built one where you have to actually think

Game Title: Rival Brains

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.proliferaite.rival

Platform: Android (live), iOS in review

Description:

Me and my daughter played Two Player Games (the one-phone split screen one) for months. It's genuinely fun and I still open it sometimes. But at some point you notice every mode is the same thing wearing a different hat. Tap first. Reaction speed. That's the whole game.

Then I found the newer one, different company, with like hundreds of minigames in it. Animation is way better, really polished. I played four or five and had the same feeling inside ten minutes. A hundred versions of one game.

Which is fine. It's good distraction and it does what it's built to do. It just wasn't scratching the thing I wanted, which was sitting across from my kid and having it be an actual contest of who thinks faster.

So I made that one.

Same setup. Phone flat on the table, screen splits down the middle, each half faces a player. But the duels are riddles, mental math, memory, anagrams, number sequences, odd one out, movie quotes. First correct tap takes the point. You still have to be fast, you just have to be right.

No second phone, no accounts, no internet. There's also a running head to head record between the two of you, and a handicap option so a lopsided rivalry stays worth playing.

Video is me playing both sides against myself so ignore how that looks. It's the real split screen and real taps.

What I actually want to know: does the split screen make sense to someone seeing it cold, and do any of the duels look boring from the outside?

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play

[ ] Demo/Key available

[ ] Paid

Free download. Three duels are free forever. The other four unlock with either a short opt-in ad or a one time $4.99. No banners, no interstitials, because the screen is a shared board and an ad landing in front of whoever's mid-riddle would be miserable.

Involvement: Solo developer. I built the whole thing. Yes AI assisted but crafted carefully.

How do I get help to see if we scored a play correctly?

Is there a forum for official guidance on tricky plays? The game changer app doesnt show enough detail in the play-by-play. How can we get more detailed information about how it is being scored under the hood? The run got counted against the pitcher as an earned run, but I think it might have been because of how the error was marked.

Scenario:

  • Runner on 1st
  • Batter bunts
  • 1st baseman runs to field it
  • 2nd base covers 1st base
  • 1st baseman's throw to get runner out was a little wide and covering 2nd baseman missed it
  • Scorekeeper marked it as an error on 2nd baseman (judgement call, but let's go with it for now)
  • Gamechanger shows "batter singles on a bunt, pitcher to second baseman"

The run eventually came in and got counted as earned against the pitcher.

Is the reason this got counted as earned because in game changer it thinks the pitcher threw to 2nd baseman to get the runner from 1st out at 2nd? Instead of what actually happened where the 2nd baseman was covering 1st and should have got the runner out?
