We use game changer clips for learning sessions (Errors, hits, base running, etc.). It' been great.

I've been using my Iphone, connected to a large TV. It works great, but a little cumbersome using my fingers to move back and forth, frame by frame, stopping/starting, etc. Maybe I need an iPad ? iPhone keyboard or stylus?

Looking for alternatives. iOS or PC.

Requirements: Pan/Zoom (Iphone touch screen is great for this), frame by frame movement (forwards and backwards), easy stopping/starting.

I am trying to adjust the video clip in a gamechanger game. I am able to get to the edit screen of the individual clip and move the sliders, but a pop up window comes up and doesn't allow any proceed options, just click out of this and discard edits, the save button Grays out and is non press able when the pop up window is up. Landscape mode doesnt help on this screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So in the scenario where the batter hits a single and is safe and is rounding first base but the first base coach touches the kid’s shoulder to sort of turn him around to high five him and then the umpire calls the batter out due to coach’s interference, if you do:

Ball in Play > Ground ball > Single
Then
R1 Out > Other

At this point the GC is waiting for you to tap one of the defensive players? But it’s the first base coach that caused the infraction?

I've heard that if you contact support, you can get a spot for a 5th coach on a team. Has anyone done this? Looking for how to get this pushed through if possible.

Does anyone bring anything for the people in the stands to know the score? I noticed this last game half our parents had their phones open to the app to check the game. I do the scoring so it got me thinking about setting up a small tv to display what I’m scoring. Anyone do anything similar?

10U ball and a regular occurrence is fly ball’s that are uncatchable for the fielders, typically due to their positioning… the field is very big, they are little, they physically can’t get to the ball in time to make a play.

If I score this a fly ball > single/double/triple, does that negatively impact the player who I drag the hit too?

In the feed it will show Player 1 singles on a fly ball to Left Fielder X. To people watching from home they are unclear what happened, why didn’t they catch the ball, should they have caught the ball, it looks bad on the outfielder, and I’m wondering how it impacts their fielding percentage or any other stats.

R1 + R2; batter hits a bloop single to CF, but R2 holds up in case it's caught. CF then throws it to 3B to put the runner out, but 3B drops the ball. I could not figure out a way to score this since it is a single, but that forces the runner to third. I finally advanced the runner from 2B to 3B on E5 and then entered the single + R3 held up. Is there any better way to do that? Thanks!

I currently do the stream with a single mevo and scoring for my daughters softball team. I use the slate router hooked up to my phone to get the mevo streaming and connect an ipad to it to do the scoring. It hasn't been to bad managing both for the team.

I was starting to look into streaming with two cameras and use the mevo multi-cam app. I really like the example views others have posted of having a zoomed in camera of the batter from CF. I was looking into getting a near stream camera and possible another slate router to bridge with the other route. I am looking to have the near stream camera in centerfield and change the camera view when the ball is in play to the camera at the backstop.

My question is how tricky is it to manage both during a game. I would be the one to score the game and change the camera view. I figure when the ball is in play and flipping to the home plate camera wouldn't be to tricky since it is only two cameras. Anyone else managing both in a game? I am imagine it can be tricky when moving fields with back to back games. I just don't want to take to much on and miss getting a play scored right.

I find it strange that there is no option to allow choice of catcher (default should be pitcher) to attempt to pickoff first base or third base. Or is it called something else if it is the catcher?

Headed to an out-of-town tournament, where the entire tournament has its own GameChanger event. As the GameChanger dude for one of the teams, do I need to score anything at all as long as there is an official tournament score?

Do I go in and score the game anyway?

Do I set up a parallel game and score that one, then compare and delete afterward?

I’m still kind of wrapping my head around the options for the tournament feature.

In my official "GameChanger mom" capacity today, I was scoring a game and had a feral sibling (8 years old) from the other team sitting next to me running the field's scoreboard.

FS was completely enthralled by GC and asked how he could learn to use it. I was showing him on simple plays and he was getting the hang of it. We talked about how he could learn on his own: YouTube (which he said he'd need to get special permission from his parents on) or to score a practice game while watching an MLB game.

FS did have 3 suggestions to make and I told him I would share with the community:

1. injured player (where there is a delay of game)

2. umpire discussion (where there is a delay of game)

3. Pickle - because that's a fun stat to follow

Thanks in advance for any help, I'm not used to be perplexed by technology but this admittedly isn't my strongest area.

I bought the starlink mini to ensure I had an uninterrupted wifi anywhere solution for our softball team's streams to game changer. I run 3 cameras and have the starlink mini connected via ethernet cable to my slate 7 travel router.

I make sure I align the Starlink Mini before every game and monitor obstructions.

I have it mounted on a tripod.

I will get at max, 10-12mbps for my upload speed and will watch it regularly crater to 4-5, and then to 0, sometimes right as I hit "Stream". I'm nowhere near any of my monthly limits as I only use it for this use case 2-3 weekends a month.

I'll watch the connection just simply drop or the mini to just suddenly say "booting" even though there is no lapse of power.

Is this just the technology operating normally or is there some troubleshooting I need to perform? I know many choose to use speedify to bridge their connections for uninterrupted streams but I feel like this kinda defeats the purpose of starlink being used reliably anywhere.

Happy to answer additional questions to help troubleshoot. I'm a volunteer just enjoying the streaming hobby and I want to make sure all the grandmothers watching at home can always see their kid! Thank you in advance!
